Getting Funded

As the Foundation is inundated with requests for funding, we require that funding proposals come via one of the following channels:

Please do not send proposals directly to staff members of the Shuttleworth Foundation.

Before submitting a proposal, please consider the following:

  • The Foundation has a clear mandate from its Trustees as to what can and cannot be funded.
  • The organisation MAY NOT fund:
    • individuals,
    • event or conference attendances,
    • work experience undertakings.

    • Instead, funding is focused on innovative pilot projects that can deliver impact both in South Africa and across our national boundaries.
