The Shuttleworth Foundation will be publishing quarterly How We Work articles that take a critical look at one aspect of our open philanthropy practice.
The primary aim of How We Work is to reflect and improve upon our efforts. With each topic, eat pizza, drink coffee and look under the hood at the work we do everyday. We share facts. We celebrate victories. And, mostly, we talk loudly about what's still broken and how to fix it.
Of course, the other goal is transparency. By showing others how we work, we hope they will rip off our best ideas, avoid our mistakes and offer advice. This is how open source works at its best. We hope our foundation can work this way to.
Upcoming topics include our fellowship program, internal wiki collaboration and external networking with like minded orgs.
